For Dogs:

DISTEMPER VACCINATION (DHLPP-6 in 1): REQUIRED FOR BOARDING

Protects against the BASIC MAJOR DISEASES (Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parainfluenza, Adeno Type 2 Virus and Parvo) which can be life threatening. 

RABIES: REQUIRED VACCINATION BY LAW

A fatal nervous system virus, which can be transmitted to humans through an animal bite.  The law requires this vaccination be given between 3 and 6 months of age before a license is issued.

CORONA: 

A virus that causes severe BLOODY DIARRHEA that is similar to Parvo.

BORDETELLA: REQUIRED FOR BOARDING

An infectious organism that causes a severe COUGH in both dogs and puppies. 

INFLUENZA: REQUIRED FOR BOARDING IN MOST KENNELS

Dog Flu is a contagious respiratory disease.

LYME: 

A bacterial disease spread by TICKS affecting both humans and animals. A series of two vaccinations, 2-3 weeks apart initially are given. Yearly boosters are given thereafter.



For Cats:

FELINE DISTEMPER (FVRCP): REQUIRED FOR BOARDING

Protects against the BASIC MAJOR DISEASES (Feline Herpes Virus, Calicivirus and Panleukopenia (Feline distemper), which can be life threatening.

RABIES: REQUIRED VACCINATION BY LAW

FeLV: RECOMMENDED FOR ALL CATS WITH ACCESS TO OUTDOORS

A viral disease which can cause malignancy (leukemia, lymphoma), anemia and profound immunosuppression. Kittens are particularly vulnerable.
